Welcome to study to be a hairstylist in the oldest private academy in Finland. Our education programme will motivate and inspire you and our aim is to give you skills that link directly to your personal success.
Our students are entitled to students´grant. great cut academy is established in 1985 and great cut International classes wish to give our foreign English speaking students the best of hairdressing education in Finland.
The main aim of our educators is to give you professional skills and qualifications with which your career as a hairstylist will be a success story.
The academies are located in the city centers of Helsinki and Tampere, the two biggest cities in Finland.
Your creativity and good motivation are the basis on which the professional talents and an inspiring studying process is built. Creativity knows no boarders; your future as a hairstylist can be anywhere in the world. Creativity and high class customer service are languages spoken everywhere.
It is our experience that your Finnish skills improve significantly during the nine months course. The education and books are both in Finnish and in English.
HAIRSTYLIST
5 or 9 months hairstylist education
great cut International classes start in the beginning of January and September. The education is from Monday till Friday from 9-10 am till 3-4 pm. Multimodal training.
Theory lessons of essential professional subjects are combined with practises in hair cutting, styling, perming and colouring.
Customer service is an essential part in learning.
You can choose five months hairstylist , 9 months barber+hairstylist or eleven months hairstylist-beauty make-up artist classes.

To those applying from abroad the interview can be arranged by phone or by e-mail.
The applicant has the responsibility of arranging to herself/himself the visas, studying permits and other official documents when needed.
The applicant will also take care of accommodation.
