  1. •The most valuable resource of today is being professional and highly qualified in whatever you are doing.

  2. •Great Cut Academy of Finland has been operating since 1985 and Make-Up Artist Academy started one year later. The academies are well respected private schools uniting the best traditions to modern views and new visions.

  3. •The basis to the professions of both hairstylist and make-up artist is the combination of creativity, sense of style, skills and good practice of techniques. You have got the first two of these - we will teach you the rest!

  4. •The education is mainly based on practice. Theoretical education takes place during the first two hours of the schoolday. Therefore a fair knowledge of Finnish is enough for the student to be able to follow the education. We have students from all around the world.

  5. •During the academic year a strong feeling of ”doing things together” arises. Each and every student´s personality and individual needs are respected.

  6. •The students receive a school report and a diploma, which are of great value on the labour market.

  7. •During the education our students take part in several different projects, during which good relations to the employers are also created.

  9. •Our students are entitled to study grants from Kela, The Social Insurance Institution of Finland. Inexpensive accommodation is available via www.hoas.fi in Helsinki and www.toas.fi in Tampere.

Great Cut Academy

  1. •9 months day school (Monday-Friday from 9 am till 4 pm)

  2. •11 months day school (Monday-Friday from 9 am till 4 pm) > includes 2 months period in beauty make-up


Make-Up Artist Academy

  1. •2 (8 weeks), 6 (24 weeks) and 9 (34 weeks) months daytime course (Monday-Thursday from 10 am till 3 pm)

  2. •2 (8 weeks), 6 (24 weeks) or 9 (34 weeks) months evening time course (Monday-Thursday from 5 pm till 9 pm)


SPECIAL COURSES


  1. •Construction Nails; one day course (gel nails) - on Saturdays

  2. •Hair Extension Course; one day course

  3. •Eyelash Extention Course; one day course - on Saturdays

  4. •Permanent Pigmentation Course; two day course - on Saturdays and Sundays
